see i think this is a good college for engg. full fun and enjoyable. faculty is also good you can check faculties qualification on website and yes it is regional centre of panjab university which means the degree you'll get will same as in uiet chd actually pussgrc is named as uiet 2 . final exams v hamare yahan hi check hote hain. yar why are you worrying about funds bas ye hai k show off ni hota yahan or har sarkari college (exept iit's) 1 jaise hi hote hain almost so don't worry and go ahead. but don't choose pvt colleges over it .

For admission in IIT's or DCE, the lateral entry rules differ from one university to another.
Generally, to take admission in lateral entry colleges you need to be a diploma holder in any engineering field with a minimum aggregate pass mark as per the university rules. But, to be sure, I would suggest you to please directly contact the university officials for specific criteria.
