Hi Reddy,
Different Universities would offer different modes of pursuing a career in Journalism. e.g. The University of Mumbai through "Garware Institute of Career Education & Development" offers a 1 year part time post graduate course in Communication & Journalism.
Similarly, check up with the University from where you plan to pursue the course & take a decision accordingly.

Hi Avinash,
There is no set parameters to say which university is better than the other! Among the many open universities available, IGNOU is the most recoginzed one.
However, I'll request you to get in touch with the Distance Learning Education cell of your university from where you have completed your 12th Std & continue your graduation from the same university via correspondence route without having to search for an Open University.
I hope my suggestion helps you in making the right career decision. All the Best.

Hi,
Well Faculty, Course Material, Quality Education, Fees, Accreditation, Infrastructure and Success Rate are the factors that define a good and reputed institute.
So consider the above parameters and then take a wise decision after thorough discussion with your peer group, family and faculty at school.
And for best results, I may suggest you to personally visit both the institutes and interact with the existing batches and also try reaching alumni for clear and transparent review.
Good Luck.
Regards!!
