S, PSG is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. And, Anna University has an other state quota for all its 500+ affiliated colleges. The guidelines are as outlined here:

Yes, you can join the college. Mandatory Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English The candidates should have appeared for common entrance test (CET) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority. The candidate should be completing 17 years of age as on 31st December of that academic year.
The fee for the course is Rs. 74,384. To get admission, you need to fill up the admission form and then follow the admission procedure.

Yes, undoubtedly AAFT is the best college and it is one of the top rated colleges in the country. Personally speaking I have taken workshops in varities of institutes and colleges and trust me, I have never seen such an infrastructure in creative domain.
