Fashion Designing Entrance Exam Pattern
The test generally includes two sections, the General ability test and Creative ability test. The objective type questions are to be answered. The candidates have to pick out the right answers from the multiple choices provided for each. Each right answer is awarded 1 mark and 0.25 marks are reduced for each wrong answer.
The GAT comprises of questions from different topics such as quantitative aptitude, English comprehension, Communication ability, Analytical ability and Business domain test. The business domain test is only for the Bachelor's programme in Design. The CAT includes questions to test the candidates' design ability, the power of observation and skills. The choice of colours for illustrations also evaluates the candidates' creative ability. There will be a situation test for the admission of undergraduate courses and a GD and interview for the admission to postgraduate courses.
Set up a full proof study Plan
If the candidates have a well-planned timetable for the preparation of their studies then it will be more helpful for them to crack the exams. The schedule must be planned in such way that it should be realistic and based on the necessary things. They should try to figure out a schedule that reduces the stress and improve effectiveness. They should be aware of syllabus and time duration of the examination.
Ladders in preparing for the Exam
The aspirants should plan the scheduled time carefully. If the candidate finds difficulty in any sections then more time should be allotted for the particular topic. Divide the syllabus into small sections in such a way that it will be easy to cover each at the proposed time. The study plan should not be stressful. They should take necessary breaks in between the studies. The place for studying should be calm and less hindrance. After the completion of each section, they should evaluate the progress. This will be helpful to know about the strength and weakness in the topics. The candidates should be confident and should have a positive attitude.

The eligibility criteria for admission to MBA programme at IGNOU is as follows as per the AICTE norms:
(a) Any graduate (Including Chartered Accountancy/ Cost Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship) with 50% marks for general category, 45% marks for reserved category, as per the rules of Government of India.
(b) Clearance of OPENMAT, conducted by IGNOU.
(c) There is no age bar.
Admission to Management Programmes of IGNOU is done through OPENMAT Entrance test, held twice a year. For appearing in the entrance test (OPENMAT), a student has to fill up Application form for OPENMAT Entrance Test). The next Entrance Test will be held on the following dates:
