It depends on every academic year. Like for stats. In 2008-2009 batch, it was a bad time. Packages were meagre and enough to render you as "salaried " person. It was the recession time than in the year 2012 (my passing out the year). So-called "good" packages ranged from 4- 4.75 LPA. After completing you graduation, you can apply for different entries. After graduation, you can apply for CDSE, NCC, UES, TGC, ACC, SCO, PCSl. After clearing the written exam of the above, you have to clear SSB interview to get selected. Also, eligibility for all entries is different and I suggest you to take coaching for SSB so that you can get what happens there at SSB and they can guide you to that.
