B.Ed. Eligibility
The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed. course Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. ) Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. ) form a recognised board/university with at least 50% marks. Students required appear in an entrance test conducted by the various states and Independent educational bodies and universities for admission in various teaching institutions attached with it according to the rank of the candidate in the entrance exam. These exams are generally held in the month of June-July and consist of Objective type questions about English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Basic Arithmetic Teaching Potential and one local language in some states. The results of these exams are generally out by July/Aug. Candidates go through practical training courses, apart from theory classes.

Eligibility:
Earlier, CBSE had said, that the number of attempts a candidate can avail at NEET is limited to three. Candidates who had already exhausted their three attempts will not be eligible to appear in NEET 2017. However, as per a new notification released on February 3, 2017, CBSE has rolled back a limitation of three attempts and the examination taken in 2017 will be treated as the first attempt irrespective of previous attempts.
The candidate must have completed 17-year of age at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December 2017. i.e., the year of his/her admission in the 1st year M.B.B.S. /B.D.S. Course.
Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible for appearing in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG), 2017.
There will be no maximum age limit for NEET 2017 as per the SC order passed on March 31, 2017.
The candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually. He or she must have obtained minimum 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology during the qualifying examination. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology are taken together in qualifying examination and that must be minimum 40% instead of 50%. Minimum 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required.
The candidates appearing for Class XII examination in 2017 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later.
