Hi Naveen. To get admission for P.hd is very difficult. First and foremost you would need to write a thesis on basis of which you would get admission. Secondly, it is a totally researched based program. It would take anywhere between 5 -7 years for you to complete it. Also the fees are pretty steep. And lastly for an international student to get admission is difficult. So these are the hindrances you would face for the admission procedure. You can best opt for an advanced diploma. The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing M.A Psychology is having a graduation degree in any stream.
However, many of the reputed universities demand graduation degree with Honors in Psychology or Psychology as one of the subjects studied in graduation from any of the recognized college/university.
Some even ask for a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course and some also conduct an entrance examination.
