Hi Shilpi, the UPSC of India conducts the IAS, IPS, IFS exam.
The three-step process is:
-Preliminary Exam (Prelims),
-Main Exam (Mains),
-Interview.
The preparation requires the right approach along with the right study materials and strategy. The essential ingredient is the knowledge of the contents and structure of the exam and the process. Remembering the facts is necessary but not sufficient. You should start preparing now. Routinize or schedule your day effectively. IAS preparation requires focused study rather than plain hard work. There are plenty of subjects for which you can start preparing now, so, choose the right optionals for IAS exam. You may buy guide-books to practice and prepare. Always keep the syllabus and past five years questions papers. Approximately one year before taking the test, you can consider taking coaching classes.

Hi, conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC), National Eligibility Test (NET) is the national level entrance examination for postgraduate candidates. NET is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and eligibility for Lectureship in various Indian universities and colleges.
To be eligible for lectureship,
i) Only those candidates are eligible to appear in NET who have completed/ are pursuing a UGC recognized degree.
ii) Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Master's Degree (or) equivalent examination from Universities/ Institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.
iii) Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master's degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test.
iv) As for the age-limit. No upper age limit except for M. Phil/ Ph.D candidates & SET Candidates.

Hi.If your present school or college is registered with UCAS (chances are they will be) just ask your teacher or careers adviser to help. If you want to apply for a full-time first (undergraduate) degree, foundation degree, DipHE or HND course, you need to submit your application via UCAS.
If you're not at school or college but are based in the UK you can apply online independently. You will need to pay the correct fee and supply the name of the academic reference (who will be contacted directly by UCAS) and then submit your application. The UCAS website provides full instructions on the application process and also has a comprehensive guide usefully entitled Applying Online.
For international applicants from outside the UK (within the EU and worldwide), you should also apply online independently unless your school or college is registered with UCAS. Again, you are responsible for paying the correct fees, obtaining and attaching the academic reference and submitting the completed application to UCAS. Hi, as per your query I would say that India holds a UPSC examination every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS officers are recruited. IAS means Indian Administrative Services and is basically meant for those aspiring candidates who have strong dedication towards the country.
The minimum qualification required for appearing the competitive examination is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university/institute. And the age limit should be between 21 and 30 years.
