The education qualification may vary on the course you plan to pursue like if you are keen to pursue a diploma/ graduate degree in animation, all you need is to have a basic education i.e. 12th pass with no constraint over the subjects you should have studied.
But if you are keen to pursue PG programs with no education background in the similar field, you can look for it after your graduation in any discipline.

In order to pursue Mass Comm. after 12th, their is no specific percentage, but min is 45-50% that you need as most of the institutes conduct an entrance exam for admissions. The basic requirement for admission is good English both written and verbal, minimum qualification required is +2 from a recognized board. The entrance would consist of few objective type questions on GK, reading comprehension, grammar, etc.
