Hi,
If you have below 50 % marks then you are not eligile to sit for CAT entrance so you can not think of getting into good B-schools through CAT. However, the Institutes which doesn't have graduation cut off doesn't necessarly mean that they are not good and would not give placements, most of the regular B- Dchools give placements. Moreover, a good placement is not completely dependent on the Institute, it depends largely on your own capabilities, how you perform on the program & how you use those skills you have earned. So consider giving other entrance exams and try to get the best out of what is available with you.
