Hi,
You are a little late as the CAT exam is already conducted and Symbiosis has closed its application.
You can still apply for MAT February, NMAT, XAT (last Date Today) and CMAT
The common process of Admission in a B School is
1) Written/ Online Exam
2) Group Discussion or Writing Ability Test ( WAT)
3) Personal Interview
The selection is based on the performance in all the three rounds.
All the Best

Hi,
Hotel Management is a very good career opportunity, if you are interested in Hospitality, Cooking and Beverages.
The most popular course in India in Hotel management is NCHMCT B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHMs.
For Admission you need to first clear the NCHMCT Joint Entrance Exam.

So you have two universities to compare for MBA-HR.
Let us talk about Amity University:
Pros:
Good Course Curriculum
Good Infrastructure
Cons
Placements: This is disappointing because 4 out of 20 students gets placed with an average package of 3.5 LPA. The other has no option left than picking an off-campus job of 15k-20k.
UPES
Pros:
Excellent Course Curriculum and Infrastructure
Placements of this branch in UPES has always been trendsetting.
Cons:
The university just lags behind in terms of high fees.

From what I've seen, after B.Sc (Airlines, Tourism & Hospitality) at LPU, you can get jobs like airline ground staff, cabin crew (with training), airport operations executive, travel consultant, tour manager, or hotel management roles. These are the main entry-level roles students usually go for.

Compared to many colleges, LPU gives better exposure and placement support, so you do get opportunities; but honestly, in this field your communication skills, personality, and grooming matter a lot for getting good roles.
