The UGC NET Exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency for Computer Science and 80 other subjects. There are two Papers I. e. Paper 1 & 2 that you need to prepare to clear this exam. Here are some tips that may lead you to score well in the exam

Check the examination pattern like how many question will be asked in exam and what will be the mark distribution criteria, exam timing, etc. Know which kind of questions are mostly asked in the exam by solving previous year papers of NET Exam. Collect quality books for study and then start preparation. Use mock test papers for practice. These papers will help you a lot to boost up your speed and accuracy. If you are serious about pursuing your MBA in abroad, you must first get a job and gain a work experience of 2 to 3 years before applying for MBA programs in abroad. High academic grades are required hence you must focus on your academics.
If you plan to study in US, know that they look for all-rounders and you must have extra-curricular activities added to your kitty. Irrespective of where you want to study you must have a good academic record, excellent work experience, a competitive GMAT and TOEFL scores to get into a top business school. Keep checking university websites for understanding the admission requirement and prepare accordingly.

To become an IAS officer you have to appear in Civil Service Exam. The Civil Service Examination is organized by UPSC every year to recruit candidate for IAS, IPS etc.
1. Academic Qualification:
The candidate must hold a bachelor degree in any field from a well-known college or university. You can pursue graduation in any stream.
Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission's examination but have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission to the Preliminary Examination.
2. Age Limits:
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.
3. Number of attempts:
Every candidate appearing at the examination who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted four attempts at the examination.
4. Selection Process
The Civil Services Exam is a paper based test and consists of two successive stages:
i. CSAT (Objective type) comprising 2 exams: General Studies.
ii. Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview).
5. CSAT-Prelim:
a. Paper 1 is on General Studies
This includes areas like Indian National Movement, Indian Polity, Basic Economic Understanding and Geography
While the dynamic part includes current affairs, GK and has no proper definition and syllabus making quite vast.
b. Paper 2 includes mathematics, reasoning, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills. Unlike paper 1 which has a static part, paper 2 is dynamic in many sense.
The Main exam will consist of:
1. Essay.
2. Modern Indian Language.
3. English.
4. General Studies-I
5. General Studies-II
6. General Studies-III
7. General Studies-IV
8. Optional Subject Paper
9. Optional Subject Paper-II
