Admission Procedure
WLC Admission Test (WAT)
The test comprises of three sections:
Quantitative AbilityEnglish ComprehensionCommunication and Analytical Ability
WLC Professional Test (WPT)
This test will be administered separately for Creative and Business Students.
Business School Test: This test is aimed at evaluating the candidate's knowledge and awareness about the national and international business environment.Creative School Test: This test is administrated to assess specific skills of candidates. These include power of observation, innovation, designing and drawing abilities.
Interview
The tests will then be followed by a personal interview. Each candidate will be evaluated for skills and abilities required in his / her chosen field.

Prelims-cum-Mains for 2012 (June to September) -- Rs. 66,000/-(inclusive of Service Tax). The Course starts on 23rd June 2011.
Prelims-cum-Mains for 2012 (October to April) -- Fee to be announced later. The Course starts on 10th October 2011.
Mains (June to September) -- Rs.40,000/-(inclusive of Service Tax). The Course starts on 23rd June 2011.
Post-result batch -- Rs.25,000/- (Inclusive of Service Tax) ( Covers essential areas of Indian Economy, Polity,Social issues, Current National and International Events; Science and Technology and Indian History spanning six weeks and includes examinations with feedback and 1800 Plus pages of Study Material).
Personality Development Programme (Interview) -- Rs.5,500

The Directorate of Distance Education of the SRM University, have introduced B.Tech. (four-year) courses in Civil/ Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation / Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology in the distance education mode. Entry qualification is a pass in 10 + 2 or its equivalent with minimum aggregate of 50 per cent marks in maths, physics and chemistry. Lateral Entry facility (Direct admission to the second year) is also provided to three-year engineering diploma holders in the relevant branch.
