Organized International Go kart Championship which is a student initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. Students gets hands on practice in labs and workshops like Advance machine shop, nontraditional and computer aided manufacturing laboratory, Automobile engineering Lab, IC Engine Lab, Mechanical Measurement and Metrology, Strength of Material Lab, Theory Of Machines/Dynamic Of Machines Lab, Thermal/Heat Transfer Lab, finite element methods laboratory, engineering graphics laboratory, object oriented programming laboratory, computer aided design and analysis laboratory, basic simulation laboratory, Propulsion Lab, Aerodynamics Lab, Welding Shop, Pattern Making Shop, Foundry shop, advanced design laboratory and engineering drawing lab. Dear Isha, There are various good universities for the B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering such as IIT, NIT, VIT, LPU, SRM, etc. Being alumni of LPU, I can share details of this programme LPU with you. I will tell you why mechanical engineering is better at LPU. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure, LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions, and accreditation down the lane and marks itself amongst the few of the top private universities. The Mechanical Engineering programme seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, etc. Specialisation. Placements: There are more than 100 companies that are coming in LPU for placements of the mech. Students. It varies from 3 Lacs per annum to 31 Lacs per annum. All are good options but scope wise always computer Science stands ahead. Because the field has a very wide scope and demand. Moreover, in any decent college, you can expect very good college placements for CSE more. Being an CSE student from LPU, I would recommend LPU. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware.
1 Placements :Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. DURING PANDEMIC THE PLACEMENT 20202021 Cloud ERA has offered 31 Lacs Per annum (CSE) DURING 20192020 CODE NATION = 31 LPA.

Both the courses have their own importance and need. If you are technically sound and has flair for technology, then go for M.Tech, while if your inclination is more towards management and corporate jobs, do MBA. You need to qualify any entrance test (such as CAT / MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/LPUNEST) and should also have min of 50% to 55% in your Bachelors. Dear aspirant as my brother has pursued B.Tech in civil engineering from LPU, I can give you better insight for the same. B.Tech in civil engineering is a four year programme which comprises of eight semesters. It is an Engineering programme which articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental, Highway Engineering, Construction Management which are in sync with industry expectations. When we talk about placements more than 550 companies comes to LPU for the biggest placement drive. The highest placement grabbed by LPU student is of 3cr per annum as on 2022.
