Should Delhi University admissions 2021 be based on CUCET?

With no clarity over the CUCET as yet, officials at Delhi University are strongly considering exploring different options to hold UG admissions this year. What is your take on it? Do you think that DU admissions should be based on CUCET exam?

I think that DU admissions should be purely merit based. CUCET show not be a criteria for the admissions to DU. If CUCET is allowed, students from poor background may lack best coaching. So they can't dream higher studies in best universities.

No. It should be based on merit. And those who will not be satisfied by their percentage can appear for the written exam. Cancelling boards and conducting CUCET is hypocritical. Also there is no time left for preparation.

Unreasonable and unreliable criteria to allocate marks for students in Class XII do not justify their being taken as a basis for further university admissions. CUCET is the only reliable and fair way to go ahead.
