Should Delhi University admissions 2021 be based on CUCET?

With no clarity over the CUCET as yet, officials at Delhi University are strongly considering exploring different options to hold UG admissions this year. What is your take on it? Do you think that DU admissions should be based on CUCET exam?

No, DU should not conduct CUCET as it will be difficult for a majority of the students to acclimatize themselves with the new exam pattern within a short period of time even if they are very good students, marring their hopes of getting into DU.

For admission to Delhi University, candidate must have passed or appeared for class 12 examination. There are no minimum marks requirement in class 12 for DU admission through CUET UG. DU may use the class 12 marks or percentage for tie breaking criteria.
