Should Delhi University admissions 2021 be based on CUCET?
With no clarity over the CUCET as yet, officials at Delhi University are strongly considering exploring different options to hold UG admissions this year. What is your take on it? Do you think that DU admissions should be based on CUCET exam?

No, it could be possible, if the process would have been started in April but now issuing the syllabus, understanding the booklist and mental preparation, and organization of exam centers seems very difficult. Besides, haste is always a waste, I think.

Yes, I feel DU admissions should be on the basis of CUCET examination since the board marks will consist of 40% of class 12 marks which are based on an online examination. Thus there is no uniformity as different schools have a different difficulty levels. Moreover, various schools kept offline exams when many schools were holding online forms based examinations. Thus admission on the basis of merit will definitely be unfair. Also, a lot of students did not cheat in their online examinations, in such cases, these students stand to lose a chance in the most prestigious college of India due to their honesty.
