Should Delhi University admissions 2021 be based on CUCET?

With no clarity over the CUCET as yet, officials at Delhi University are strongly considering exploring different options to hold UG admissions this year. What is your take on it? Do you think that DU admissions should be based on CUCET exam?

DU should definitely conduct them. It would help making the admission process fair since we know how high the percentage for DU goes. I think it should be home proctored and centres with internet connection should be set up keeping in mind social distancing measures for people living in places without internet connections.

Yes, CUCET is the best option as there will be no clear judgement of students with the marking scheme of CBSE and in that case CUCET is the best and only option.

It is not clear yet that will there be any CUCRT for DU admission. But still many students want CUCET as the admission basis for DU admission. But we have to wait till the final declaration from officials.

Yes DU should conduct CUCET as there is a lot of unsurity about the 12th percentage. It will be better if admissions are made based on performance in CUCET.

According to me, DU should conduct CUCET as it will give one more chance to the students do prepared well this year but due to covid are unable to score that much Marks that they deserve. So CUCET should be conducted as will give the opportunity to each student again to do well.

No, a valid CUET score is accepted for admissions to both BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities and the BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at JSLAH.

In the previous year admissions, CUET was only listed as an accepted exam for the BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities admission.

No, candidates who wish receive the Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities BA (Hons) scholarships must provide a valid score in the JSAT. For admission to Delhi University, candidate must have passed or appeared for class 12 examination. There are no minimum marks requirement in class 12 for DU admission through CUET UG. DU may use the class 12 marks or percentage for tie breaking criteria.
