Should Delhi University admissions 2021 be based on CUCET?
With no clarity over the CUCET as yet, officials at Delhi University are strongly considering exploring different options to hold UG admissions this year. What is your take on it? Do you think that DU admissions should be based on CUCET exam?
-
Obviously yes it will ensure uniformity across different boards, solve the problem of 100 percent cutoff, reduce the multiplicity of exams and the resulting financial burden and pressure.
-
Delhi University must conduct CUCET. Because the 20-21 12boards were not conducted and hence a fair selection could only be done if CUCET is taken.
-
DU should have Open Book CUCET exams, and students should be given atleast a month to prepare.
-
Yes, as it will be fair for tye students. Since we are still confused about our board results I guess it will be a fair game if CUCET takes place.
-
CUCET should be conducted.
-
CUCET is good, but there is a problem that government even doesn't clarify it's syllabus or exam pattern.
-
I would insist that Delhi University must work on some alternative of percentile method, as it is a dream for students to get a reputed college in central university. Students from all over India want to get a chance to study here but all boards have different marking scheme according to the course and in this time of pandemic teachers are going to award marks on the basis of online exams and the classes children attended but we cannot deny the fact that this method is not going to work for some of students who live in interior villages or cannot afford this online education. An entrance exam can give equal chances to all students.
-
Yes, Delhi University should have CUCET.
-
Yes, it is necessary we cannot rely on the merit based admissions as it is not in our hand.
-
Definitely, Yes, DU should conduct CUCET as class 11th and pre boards are not a good methods for evaluation of marks. It will give a common platform to all students.
