What are the advantages and disadvantages of taking PCM over commerce maths?

    In simple words if you interested in accounting then general Maths commerce Maths should be take. But if you are interested or make career in engineering then you must take PCM. Because by PCM you are able to crack any exam easy.

    PCM and commerce are two completely different streams. I will advice you to think about your goal and interests in life and go for the streams in which you can give your best
    Both stream have their own benefits
    In commerce CA (CHARTED ACCOUNTANT) is considered as the highest honour but if you are not interested in accountancy then go for PCM non medical stream has wide options B.Tech, B.Sc. BCA and many more.

    PCM will give a career in technology whereas commerce will take you to the direction of finance and business studies. Moreover, if you are planning for MBA later, commerce would be an add-on value. PCM gives you an upper hand as PCM Maths is complex and has more variety than mainstream commerce Maths.

    Well it's upto you whether you should take PCM or not but here I am going to tell you about my choice which I think may help you. I was always interested in science and thought about making cool stuff solving problems of real world but never scored very good in PCM. I was able to score average marks in Physics and Chemistry and just passing marks in Maths. This was my condition because I cannot cram just before exam and print the routine questions into the answer sheet.     No studies / No fields have disadvantages. What matters is your choice and dedication. Apart from medical Science, you can graduate in any stream related to Biology. All streams have job Prospectus. Right from, environmental Science, bio Chemistry botany, Zoology microbiology, home Science. The list is endless.     A PCM student can easily switch their field.In future if you want to study commerce related courses then you can easily switch.
    A PCM is known for their problem solving skills. Their Problem solving is more than commerce students because of complex problems in mathematics and physics.
