What are the advantages and disadvantages of taking PCM over commerce maths?

Its totally depends on you and your interest. If you are more interested in Engineering, Pharmaceuticals and other programs where PCM is mandatory, You need to pass with PCM subjects. For example, If you want to take admission in B.tech, you must pass your 12th with PCM but in many courses such as BCA, B.sc IT, B.A you don't need PCM. If you are more interested in Commerce studies, you can go with commerce.

PCM will give a career in technology whereas commerce will take you to the direction of finance and business studies. Moreover, if you are planning for MBA later, commerce would be an add-on value. There is no advantage or disadvantage of any course. It depends on how your interest grows and how better you can perform.

Well it's upto you whether you should take PCM or not but here I am going to tell you about my choice which I think may help you. I was always interested in Science and thought about making cool stuffs solving problems of real world but never scored very good in PCM. I was able to score average marks in Physics and Chemistry and just passing marks in Maths. This was my condition because I cannot cram just before exam and print the routine questions into the answer sheet.
