    Rakshit,
LPU has earned a good reputation for itself in the field of education. Taking admission for B.Tech CSE there will give you a cutting edge over other students as I have heard that they work hard for their students when it comes to placements. Not only the students are equipped with theoretical and practical subject knowledge but also they are trained to face placement exams with ease.
Another plus point is that the university has made it possible for all to have access to quality education as they offer good scholarships.
For a better insight, you can visit their camp office near you or check their website for more details.

Both the colleges are very good but, if you are concerned about placement, then I will suggest SRM Chennai is far better.

    Hi,
If you are getting SRM, Chennai and fees is not the issue for you, then you should definitely select SRM, Chennai. If you check the MHRD ranking SRM is placed in one of the top colleges of India as compared to LPU. So, you should definitely select SRM. All the best for your future.

I think SRM is the best but the fee structure is very high as it is 4.48 LPA. SRM is one of the reputed and old universities in India with good number of companies visiting every year.

SRM Chennai (main campus) is far better one among these two. However, there are better colleges are VITS University, BITS Pillani and colleges from Bangalore such as MS Ramaiah, RV College, PES University which you will get through COMEDK entrance exam. Bangalore is a hub for software companies, so I will prefer it more for CS Engineering.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
