Which college is better for B.Tech CSE in terms of academics and placement: LPU or SRM, Chennai?

If you are getting SRM, Chennai and fees is not the issue for you, then you should definitely select SRM, Chennai. If you check the MHRD ranking SRM is placed in one of the top colleges of India as compared to LPU. So, you should definitely select SRM. All the best for your future. -

I think SRM is the best but the fee structure is very high as it is 4.48 LPA. SRM is one of the reputed and old universities in India with good number of companies visiting every year.

SRM Chennai (main campus) is far better one among these two. However, there are better colleges are VITS University, BITS Pillani and colleges from Bangalore such as MS Ramaiah, RV College, PES University which you will get through COMEDK entrance exam. Bangalore is a hub for software companies, so I will prefer it more for CS Engineering.
