As you are concerned about placement, SRM is best for CSE but LPU is also a great college and have a reputation in India and have good placements too. But the academic fee of SRM is quite high almost 4 Lacs per annum+plus extra pocket money which you need.

Both are the top colleges of India, but LPU is the best college, then SRM, because the package is more than SRM, and even you can get scholarship based on your merit and skills.

SRM, Chennai is Better than LPU for B.Tech CSE. If you get any of one go for it. LPU is also good. 1st preference should SRM, Chennai and 2nd preference should be LPU, Punjab.

SRM is better than LPU, but fee structure is 2.5 Lacs, not 4.8 Lacs. The environment of Punjab is better than Chennai.

    Hi,
I prefer SRM over LPU. That to the main branch of SRM University, Kattankulathur, but the fee structure is high in SRM University when compared to LPU.

SRM Chennai will be best option in comparison with LPU. Apart from LPU, other good colleges are there in Punjab, Chandigarh that are well reputed, well ranked, strong industry tie-up and exposure, best faculty & placements, world class infrastructure and facilities. One of the leading college in Punjab, Chandigarh region can be opted as https://www.igef.net/.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
