Both the universities are top in India and also both have their own value for money. When it comes to B.Tech CSE placement level are same for both the college and fee is having just a little difference. I would suggest you choose SRM, Chennai because there you will find the best study environment.

Placement depends on one's caliber. But still, according to me SRM would be a better option especially Chennai campus. It's infrastructure faculty members and instrumental approach towards any gadget is far better than LPU.

The best college among both is SRM, Chennai. Yes, it's fee structure is high but if you will get placed in any of the good companies visiting the campus automatically, you will regain your amount with interest brother. Go for SRM Chennai.

In LPU, the cost of M.Tech is high as compared to SRM University. And you will get better chances for placements after the M.Tech in CSE as many MNC like Wipro, TCS and Accenture are regular recruiters for SRM.

Both of them are more or less similar. But I would say you to join SRM, Chennai though its expensive then LPU as you are provided with scholarship in LPU.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
