I am a student of SRM so will stick to details about SRM as I don't have much idea about LPU. Both the colleges are pretty good but computer science is a stream where you need to be hard working and try to learn a thing on your own or else college won't matter. Computer Science is one of the top streams in SRM as they provide great facilities and faculty. The department as a whole is very cooperating and you can approach any teacher for any sort of help. The placements records for computer science has been pretty good and a lot of good core companies visit the campus every year taking students for Rs 20 lakhs to Rs 25 lakhs package. ADMISSION: Both the colleges conducts their own entrance test to admit their students. Lovely professional University conducts LPUNEST while SRM University conducts SRMJEE. SRM JEE is more famous.
CROWD QUALITY: You will find better crowd quality in SRM Chennai.

SRM is better than LPU. The course structure is almost the same so both are equal in this aspect, about faculty, SRM has very good and experienced faculty whereas LPU has not very good faculty. Placements in SRM are better with a higher average package of 6-7 LPA and in LPU, the average package is 4-5 LPA. College infrastructure of LPU is better than SRM.
