Hello, As per my views LPU is more better than SRM for CSE because LPU is one of the most reputed college in India and having a position against IITs. Also the infrastructure, teaching methodology, placements and overall development of students are upto the mark. But if you don't get LPU then you can go for SRM. Thank You and please do upvote my answer.

Without defaming or comparing with other good institutes, we would like to highlight following points about LPU.
    1) Curriculum Innovation: Curriculum for all disciplines is revised after every six months. LPU curriculum surpasses the requirements of regulatory bodies. It is benchmarked with some of the best universities of the world, but continues to retain its uniqueness and innovativeness.
    2) Live Projects: From development of applications to wonderful innovations like Quadcopter, Gesture controlled wheelchair, Autonomous Rover etc., our education system is dedicatedly converting the brick and mortar classroom to outcom

As both the colleges are good but if you compare both of them then reviews and rating wise LPU is bit better than SRM. Placement and job opportunities at LPU are far better than the SRM university. Loads of companies are tied with the LPU for placements. The curriculum of LPU is in sync with the industry. Placements especially for CSE are really very good with companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc., visiting the campus regularly for recruitment. Not only this but also the university gives regular inputs to their students in the form of PEP classes where in the students are trained for facing the placement drives.

Comparison helps when you are confused between the two options. Honestly, I was confused too before coming here in LPU. For solving this confusion, I looked for the best key points that define the institute as the best education body. No one will ever give the perfect review of all the 3 bodies you are asking about. As I have brief knowledge about LPU, so I can help you with that. You can compare the same points with the other universities and decide
    1. Infrastructure: The University is spread over 600 acres which provides each and every facility to their students inside the campus. Well, considering education, well-equipped labs are de

SRM is better than LPU. The course structure is almost the same so both are equal in this aspect, about faculty, SRM has very good and experienced faculty whereas LPU has not very good faculty. Placements in SRM are better with a higher average package of 6-7 LPA and in LPU, the average package is 4-5 LPA. College infrastructure of LPU is better than SRM.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
