IIT-Bombay and IIT-Delhi have the best placement record in India. The selection takes place through IIT exam.

You can for IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani or VIT. SRM University is also good in terms of placement.

Hello,
Incase you are looking for the best and top ranking engineering college and location is not a constraint for you then I would suggest you to look for Quantum School of Technology, Roorkee (www.quantum.edu.in). This is my personal recommendation and quantum is also having a very good placement record.

For the best career, you should plan for IITs. After it, you can consider BITS, Pilani, NITs and the top most colleges of your state.

Placement record of any individual college does depend on its brand value in the market of engineering job requirements. But the other factor which matters a lot regarding the placement is in what field you are pursuing your engineering. As every individual field/branch have there own prospective of placement. So, whenever you go for choosing up an engineering college, make sure to look out for the individual branch placement percentage of that college.

All the IITs, NITs, DCE are government colleges and in private, BITS Pilani, BIT Mesra, VIT Vellore and JCERC are some of the colleges with good placement record.

According to me, a candidate should look for infrastructure and good placement record. Both the aspects are important for better career growth and also ensure that a candidate can get a decent job after graduation.
