Which is a better option among pursuing BCA+MCA from a good college and doing B.Tech+M.Tech (CSE) from an average college? What should I do?

I am weak in chemistry and it will be hard for me to get admission in a good college like KIIT and VIT.

It all depends on your interest, but from my opinion you should go for B.Tech+M.Tech, because the scope of a B.Tech is far more than a BCA and some people even say that pursuing BCA+MCA is equivalent to B.Tech degree.

    Hello!
A general trend is to prefer the engineering stream but in an AICTE approved, preferably accredited institute affiliated to a reputed university or an institute of national importance. Again it depends on where you wish to see yourself after the completion of the programme. May be you prefer to see yourself as a system analyst or a programming expert, MCA is not bad at all. Hope it helps.
    All the best.

There are few things for notice on choosing college. One need to be very sure about the career prospective and then choose the stream. The college does matter as it decides the education system and placements. So, choose the college wisely. UEM Jaipur is one to have the courses with good faculty members to help for career opportunity. Check the website to get more information about college https://www.shiksha.com/university/university-of-engineering-and-management-jaipur-47406/courses/be-btech-bc.

BCA and MCA are emerging courses these days. Moreover, pursuing BCA+MCA from a good college will be far better than B.Tech and M.Tech from an average college, provided you put in equal efforts. Good luck.

BCA+MCA from a very good college is definitely better according to me in today's scenario. Today, there is literally no value of engineering, if done from a poor institute. So, choose wisely. I would also suggest that you should try for courses like BMS+MBA and try to get more than 70 percent marks in your academics throughout. If you happen to go to a good B-School after your graduation, your career will take a good turn. You can also go for BCA+MBA. Hope this help. All the best.

BCA + MCA will be a better choice, if want to go in a private college. And a normal curriculum. Before opting any stream see their syllabus carefully and try to find your interest with the syllabus.
