Which is a better option among pursuing BCA+MCA from a good college and doing B.Tech+M.Tech (CSE) from an average college? What should I do?

I am weak in chemistry and it will be hard for me to get admission in a good college like KIIT and VIT.

If you go for BCA+MCA, you can work hard and study smart even in an average college but if you choose B.Tech+M.Tech then you must choose a big renowned college offering high placements.

BCA+MCA from a very good college is definitely better, according to me, in today's scenario. Today, there is literally no value of engineering if done from a poor institute. So, choose wisely. I would also suggest that you should try for courses like BMS+MBA and try to get more than 70 percent marks in your academics throughout. If you happen to go to a good B-School after your graduation, your career will take a good turn. You can also go for BCA+MBA.

If you are seeking campus placement with good salary, BCA + MCA from a good college can provide you that. There is no point in choosing an average college, if you are interested in getting a good job quickly.

So, better to go with the BCA+MCA from good institutes rather to spoil years in doing B.Tech and M.Tech from average institutes. Opportunities are also good for students pursuing BCA then MCA. So, cheers and do good in your education.

    Hi,
Doing BCA+MCA from a good college is better than doing B.Tech from an average college.
So, go for BCA rather than B.Tech.

You should take admission for BCA+MCA from a good college as the jobs for BCA+MCA students are available and BCA alone is a 3 year course.

BE generally means more theory than a B.Tech degree. B.Tech, on the other hand, generally has less theory compared to a BE and more practical skills (hands on) from in class examples/assignments than a BE. This doesn't mean that a BE has no practical skills. They still have assignments and capstone projects in their 4th/5th year to demonstrate and apply all the theory they have acquired over the years of study. From what others say- BE can become a P. Eng (Professional Engineer) which means they have the responsibility of making sure everything is done correctly. Usually the lead engineer has a P Eng. You are held responsible if anythi

It depends on your interest that whether you want to do BCA for your future or you want a technical field such as B.Tech for your future so the choice is yours. If you're getting a good college for BCA + MCA then I suggest you that you can do BCA. But as the current scenario of India is changed everyone wants to be technical so you may pursue your career in the technical field. So, good luck. Feel free to reach us, if you have any queries.
