    B.Tech is better than BCA.
  • In both B.Tech CSE and BCA, all students passing out from IEM and UEM have got 1-2 job offers. You may opt for any of these courses from University of Engineering & Management (UEM) under IEM group. Govt of India, MHRD, NIRF has ranked IEM group as 3rd in Bengal after IIT Kharagpur and NIT Durgapur. The top 4 of Bengal within 100 in order are:-
    1) IIT Kharagpur
    2) NIT Durgapur
    3) IEM Kolkata
    4) IIEST Shibpur (Formerly BESU)

b.tech is better.because u get more job opportunities in b.tech then BCA.and the main thing BCA is all about the computer applications and b.tech in computer science is a course where u have to learn the core methods of computer.the subject r not totally same.

    B. Tech is a technical degree course of 4 years with a lot of practical knowledge.
After doing B. Tech you can get job in good companies.
BCA is a generic degree course of 3 years.
After doing bca you have to do MCA in order to get jobs in companies
