Which university has better placements: SRM or LPU?

Many major recruiters visit the LPU campus for recruitment such as Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, etc. for hiring the students. The university also provides placement mentoring to its students so that they are able to perform well at the time of interviews. Amazon offered packages of 28 Lacs to 3 students of the university some time back. Also, you will be amazed to know that bulk recruiters have made 10,000 offers in the recent years.

Placements- Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2019, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2019 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs). It helps you enhance your communication skills, soft skills, professionalism with dedicated and well-designed courses. More than 550 students hired on a single day by Cognizant, not once but TWICE that is more than 1000 students, which has set a record in the whole of North India. 2019, 3 Engineering students offered 28 LPA from AMAZON for their AI SKILLS. Hi, Placement is the main criteria for which students pick colleges with great care. I do not know much about SRM but my cousin from LPU has bagged a very good job offer in Amazon. The way they prepare their students for placements brings laurels to all the students. Dear Applicant, I would recommend to opt for LPU, as LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU; and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. The curriculum at LPU incorporates specific courses (subjects) under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue until the final semester. Exhaustive preparatory sessions are conducted before the placement drives of leading brands (and mass recruiters) like Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Honda, Bosch, etc. So that more and more number of students can secure a placement offer with such brands. The most difficult decision is to identify the institute to get your higher studies. I believe the decision to opt for the university should depend upon various parameters such as eligibility, curriculum, fee and scholarship, exposure, pedagogy and placements. Every college is trying to provide best from its side whether its SRM or LPU. First you should SEE the recognition of the institution at various levels. After that the eligibility norms and fees and scholarship which is to be followed needs consideration. As per your question, I believe both colleges are among the top colleges of India. I have heard a lot about the placements and the efforts taken by the faculty to provide good placements to the students. LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. As per my view LPU has an edge in terms of curriculum, exposures, and placements. Talking in terms of fees, the fees of the institutes are higher now-a-days but LPU offers the chance to get higher scholarships and that too for all semesters. Yes, LPU offers very good placements undoubtedly, ranging from 3.5 lacs to 1 crore depending on the programme and the performance of students. More than 300 cos visit LPU for placements and students are placed both nationally and internationally, even in top notch cos like Google, Amazon, Capegemini, Microsoft to name a few.
