Dear, Both has good placement but in case of infrastructure and facility LPU is better than SRM. If you really want to do B.Tech and assure yourself that you can perform well in academic then choose any one where you feel comfortable because LPU situated in North and SRM, Chennai situated in South.

Both the universities are top notch private universities of India with good placements but the fees of SRM is higher than LPU and moreover, you can also win scholarship in LPU.

Hello,
Placements at LPU are always applauded. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Always go for an institute that along with good education provides high placement record. As far as these are concerned, I have read a lot about Lovely Professional University-its ranking, assured placements, recognition, tie-ups, infrastructure, scholarships, etc. This university is having tie-ups with more than 50+countries providing you with an excellent exposure helping you achieving excellence in your discipline. If I would have been at your place, I would have opted this one only.

As you know, SRM is a good university and older than LPU but LPU is growing in engineering field so as per me, SRM has the highest package (domestic) 18 Lacs per annum in 2017 and LPU got 20 LPA as of 2017.

Hi Priyanshu, The most crucial and optimal stage of your career would be the final year of your graduation and the one following that. If you have to spend that 2 years of valuable time in the search of a job, I feel you will have a lot of experiences to gain but you may end up missing a chance to try on many other things. I did MBA from Lovely Professional University and currently I am working with Think and Learn with decent package. Actually Salary package depends on factors like specialisation, Institute, Company offering job, students academic performance, work experience etc. LPU provides different classes for placements which helps in grooming. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for government Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interview skills right from the 1st year, continuously for 2/3/4 ( duration of course) years till they get the job. The placements are tremendous and you will get plenty of opportunities to choose from but it is your duty to maintain a capable academic record so that you can fetch a job in the best company that visits the university for recruitment. The placement in MBA at LPU is about 95% and above. Almost all batches were placed in well-known companies. Average package offered for MBA students is 4.5 LPA. Some of the leading companies (like Practo, Think and Learn, Colgate, ICICI Prudential, Tech Mahindra, Axis bank, WNS, CISCO etc. ). Recruited a good number of students from our department with the maximum package of 17 Lacs. Every year, Around 550+ companies visit for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2019, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2019 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs)
Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. Placements and job opportunities in LPU are good as compared to SRM and now it is getting better and better. There are loads of companies with LPU has tied up for placement of their students. My seniors have been placed in the reputed companies through on-campus placement.
