Which university has better placements: SRM or LPU?

Hi, Being an Education Consultant, Generally, I will laugh when I have to answer that how many packages I will get, what will the job placements. NO one talks about studies or their own skills. I agree institutes are equally responsible to make you skilled and to provide you a placements. But it is candidates own responsibility also to make himself enough capable. So that an institute can easily provide them not only one in fact more than one job opportunity. Although both the universities are private and in fact SRM is also working very well and making a lot of effort to grow in terms of Placements, Curriculum, Co-Curriculum and Extra curriculum. SRM is working equally well as LPU is doing for 2 decades. Due to LPU's Dedication and now enough experienced LPU steps ahead in providing placements and improving Curriculum at regular intervals ie; after every 6 months. I hope this will help you.

Dear student, Both are well known universities of India with modern infrastructure and facilities. Even placements are worth mentioning. But I would prefer LPU over other 2 for few reasons The very first reason is LPU has single campus so the management concentrates on making it the best where as SRM has more than one campus due to which how so ever hard they try still one or the campus is affected. The curriculum of LPU is in sync with the industry. Placements especially for CSE are really very good with companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. , visiting the campus regularly for recruitment. Not only this but also the university gives regular inputs to their students in the form of PEP classes where in the students are trained for facing the placement drives. Also, the kind of exposure offered to students whether it is academic or non academic adds to the personality and overall development of the students. So, it would be a good choice to go for admission in LPU. Good luck.

Professional University a good placement campus, and you should go for better University, like Lovely Professional University has a good cafe to study, better infrastructure, better in academic evolution and it provides many courses and it provides better job placement in multinational companies or abroad.

LPU gives ample of opportunities to eligible students for placements. It is one of the best programmes in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. The university puts its best efforts for the grooming of our students to get good placements. The curriculum incorporates specific courses (subjects) under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programs (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. Hi, LPU has been consistently ranked as a top university in various areas like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, etc. The highest package offered till date is 1 CRORE by an agriculture student.

Hello Priyanshu, As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Now, I can give you some information about LPU placements, from feedback received from some students, as it was your original question. So, yes, LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams. The LPU students have been successful to get a highest package of INR. 28 Lacs per annum from Amazon. The placement team in LPU works very actively throughout the year. Apart from that, each school (or department) has it’s own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus, but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training. Over the years, major national as well as international brands like Cognizant, IBM, Flipkart, LG India, SAP have visited LPU campus for placing its students. Apart from that, internships as well as capstone projects are an integral part of curriculum which is very vital for getting placement. A lot of students have successfully started their own ventures as entrepreneurs. The university has its own start up school which promotes startups in collaboration with startup India programme. So, definitely, in my view, LPU will be a good choice for placements. All the best for your future.

Hi, Always go for institute that along with good education provides high placement record. As far as these are concern, I have read a lot about Lovely Professional University-its ranking, assured placements, recognition, tie-ups, infrastructure, scholarships etc. This university is having a tie-ups with more than 50+countries providing you an excellent exposure helping you achieving excellence in your discipline. If I would have been at your place, I would have opted this one only.

Choosing a college or University, lot of factors considered like ranking, infrastructure, curriculum, pedagogy, Faculty and most important placements. SRM and LPU both are the renowned names in the Education Sector and both the institutes have their own place. But if talk of Placements, LPU is the one of the top name. LPU is not only good for placements but also known for its best infrastructure, innovative pedagogy, Industry focused Academics, industry tie ups. Renowned companies like Amazon, Cognizant, Bosch, Capgemini, Trident, Hitachi, Josh, Xerox, CTS, Verizon, Tech Mahindra come for the campus recruitment. LPU alumni working with top fortune companies like Google, Apple, Yahoo, Microsoft, Bank of America etc. with packages of over 1 crore. Therefore, I strongly recommend the LPU over SRM.

Both SRM & LPU are the topmost colleges in India in terms of placement but the fees of SRM is very high which makes LPU a better option. But if you are getting any IIT or NIT, then you must go for them as they are the best in India.
