1. Read a newspaper online every day. It can be done in your extra time. It could be The Hindu or Firstpost. You can also read selective articles from any Time or Washington Post. Also, start Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis.
2. Start viewing lectures online. The website of EduSaathi can help you in that. Watch videos of all topics sequentially and solve questions. This will help you to get your basics correct.

I would suggest you to refer the study material issued by the institute itself as at the end of the day, the question paper will be from these only.
Though you can refer books by teachers but refer them only after you have completed the practice manuals of the institute.

Multiple degrees, such as CA CS and CMA are undoubtedly beneficial. It will undoubtedly benefit you, especially if you work in corporate. Personally, I believe that learning broadens your perspective. What's more crucial, though, is that you be able to use your knowledge in the workplace. Even having a large number of qualifications won't help you if it's not possible.
