Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test TISSNET is conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences. The exam is conducted for all Master's degree programmes offered by TISS. The questions are asked from:
1) General Awareness
2) English proficiency
3) logical reasoning

As you have 6 months' time, the following tips would be useful :
A) For English section, it is essential to read the newspapers, magazines and articles so that you can improve your vocabulary skills by looking for new words. IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBA (International Business) programs offered by IIFT Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada. The syllabus and exam pattern for IIFT are as follows:

Exam Pattern:
The IIFT exam is a computer-based test. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours). The exam consists of 110 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Planning is very important to crack XAT in 6 months. So, my suggestions are:
XAT is easy as compared to CAT. I was also a student who prepared for XAT immediately after my graduation. The important things which you should look into while preparing for this exam are as follows:
1. Select one of the best coaching centres which offer quality education. TIME is one of the famous coaching centres for XAT and MAT.
2. Dedication-Be focused on the aim which you need to achieve.
3. Try to read Hindu newspaper editorial. Most of the passages which appear in XAT are from Hindu editorial.
4. Try to do a maximum number of online mock tests. You will definitely clear XAT by doing the above.
5. Try to read as much as you can and make note of points.
6. Revision of each topic every week is very important.
7. Mathematical ability questions will be little-twisted, try to solve them as fast as you can.

It doesn't matter if a student is pursuing B.Com (Hons.) from distance learning in India atleast. The basic condition is it should be pursued from a university recognized by UGC. Consider these tips and keep them in mind to crack NMAT-UG exam and study with hard work accordingly
Quantitative Skills - It will be a mix of DI and QA questions. QA will have questions from Algebra, Arithmetic, Numbers and Geometry. The questions will be easy but with a few tricky questions in between that makes it moderate level.
Logical Reasoning - Almost thirty percent of the questions will be on verbal reasoning (statement-conclusion, critical reasoning, strong & weak arguments, statement-assumption, course of action, etc.).
Language Skills - There will be a couple of passages. If you aren't very good and quick with solving RCs, do not attempt these questions first. Attempt the rest of the questions that will be basically on find the error (in a sentence), fill in the blanks (double, cloze, prepositions-based), jumbled paragraphs, analogies and antonyms, and synonyms.

Ways to crack CS in just 3 months:
Prepare notes/summarize everything, mark important sums, while studying in classes. Try to make sure you understand all concepts, it is okay if you don't remember everything.
When you are done with classes/self-study, check out all latest papers i.e. last three years or last 6 attempts, and understand the structure of exam papers see how exam papers are like!
At this stage, you will solve everything that you have learned till date, keeping in mind the sort of questions that are asked in exams.
This revision should be real quick, like every day you should do one chapter each of four different subjects per day.
Third, revision is for rectifying mistakes that you noticed while solving paper.
You can also try revising the whole portion in 75% of the day and then use 25% of the day for paper solving.

Quantitative Ability
Quantative availability: The exam more closely resembles a bank PO exam then MBA exam. For quantitative ability, the best preparation to take Bank PO papers. Check for Pratiyogita Darpan under Google books, there are many previous issues. Take a copy of only quantitative section and solve it by setting time because unlike other exams the time is very limited.
English Comprehension
This is a relatively simple section as it consists of different types of questions like reading, comprehension, para, jumbling, sentence correction, and fill in the blanks. You should be solving previous year papers and mock test papers to improve your skills in English.

This is the toughest section in the paper. The questions are mainly around agriculture, environment, education, as our organization heads current affairs, NGOs.
