Yes, why not? Arrears can be acceptable if you have come out of it strongly. If your final percentage is very good. It's how you faced the challenges. However, if you had a huge number of arrears and your final grades do not show any significant improvement then I am afraid you will have a hard time.

First thing, which internship did you complete after the completion of CPT?
Secondly, even if there is any, let me tell you that in this competitive environment, it's not going to help you in any ways unless you have some value added qualification to your graduation and CPT is not one of those surely.
So, clearly, there are no job opportunities for CPT passed candidates except BPOs, but for that too, you only need good communication skills.
I would recommend you to first work on adding value to your qualifications then you can look out for a good job.

There are few good colleges which do accept MAT scores and are reasonably priced and these are well reputed and offer you good ROI.
Some are Jamna Lal Bajaj, Sydhenm, KJ Somaiya, Welingkar, PUMBA, Indira and St. Xavier's, Mumbai.
But the only thing is that they consider a score above 96%ile in MAT exam.
Applications are accepted through Maharashtra-CET.
Packages of these colleges reach up to 10 LPA in the first 3 and 5-6 LPA and rest of the colleges.
