M.Com provides you mastery in all commerce related subject whereas in the latter case it deals mainly with economics only. So in my opinion you should first discover your interest zone and the subject that you want to study. Also, it depends on many other factors, as to what you want to pursue later? And take the decision accordingly.
The brand name of DU definitely looks good for a while but in the long run its your knowledge that matters, so in my opinion, go for a full time post graduation program from any decent university in a subject that you like.

I personally believe that if one wants to pursue B.Com, then it is always advisable to pursue from a University recognised by UGC especially if there has to be a choice taken between the two as mentioned in the question, then University of Mumbai, Fort Campus is the best option. The Institute of Computer Accountants is just a private institution which will be there only to earn a profit. This is what I have personally observed in cases of such private institutions. However, not all the institutions are same. Here in this comparison the University of Mumbai is far more ahead of such institutions and has great alumni and faculty members

Few of the common mistakes done by students while preparing for CET-IPU are:

  • Not having a proper time table: Students work hard, but many of them do not prepare a daily/weekly time table. Time-table must be in such a way that it must be promising and must be followed.
  • Clearing doubts: A lot of students feel shy to ask about their doubts about their faculties and at that moment, they leave those doubts and move on which creates problems for exam preparation and revision.
  • Regular revision: Needs to regularly revise all the concepts, formulae and shortcuts learnt, else, it might become difficult to recall them on the day of the final exam. F

CMA/CWA is much more exclusive and knowledge based as per Indian Standards. CMA US is like a mini MBA - one year course and 2 exams.
Whereas CMA India has its course equivalent to CA or CIMA UK. A much tougher course with pass percent around 1% , duration (excluding foundation) min - 2 years, No of papers 16.
Moreover, Indian companies , mostly the PSUs doesnt value CMA US as such when compared to CWA/CMA. Also , the field of practice is not open to CMA US.
Another point to be noted, one can never join any high rank civil service in India( ex- Indian cost accounting service) by CMA US degree.apply: Western India Regional Council,"Rohit Ch

I scored 94 out of 100 in TISSNET 2014 and it is the easiest management entrance exam in India in terms of difficulty level. The average CAT/IIFT/XAT aspirant will feel the QA/VA to be a breeze here. The deal braker is the time management and GK section. Do keep the following pointers in mind:
1. Exhaustive preparation of GK- especially pertaining to India. Do not wait till the last minute for GK preparation. Do read about govt. schemes and initiatives. Any major statutory body being formed, elections, etc.
2. Keep a good time for reviewing your answers.

We used to take exams early at 4 AM and also have studied for night lectures.
And because of these things today 9-10 hours of working is very easy for me and I am flexible to work in any environment. Believe me, this makes you different from the crowd. Industrial t
