Dear Kiran,
The finance criteria for all Universities/Colleges in Australia are the same. The criteria required is by DIAC the visa issuing authority. You should show own or sponsor-owned funds equivalent to the full fees of the course applied for and one year's living costs plus incidentals, currently a total of AUD 20,000/- plus fees and these funds must be at least 6 months old, you may also show student loan and this is the most preferred option. Fees range from AUD 20,000/- to about 30,000/- per annum. So on the higher side, it can be a total of AUD 80,000/- which is about INR 44 lacs.

Dear Aniket,
You first need to decide as to which country you would like to study in, once you have decided that then you need to shortlist the Universities you would like to apply for. The selection of these will depend on the subject you wish to study in and their admission criteria, by which i mean if you match their academic requirements since some will admit student having marks in the range of 55% to 60% and like most of the SVP colleges in Australia will require 65% minimum. You will also need to take an English language test like TOFEL or IELTS and get the grade required by the University you are applying to. Once this is done y
