cmt.Te Government has the right to close any engineering college that offers a degree not approved by AICTE which sets the minimum acceptable standards in terms to what needs to taught for a particular course, lab facilities etc. Finally, AICTE will soon be closed down and taken over by a more powerful regulatory body called National Board of Accreditation. Finally, It is my personal opinion that it is better to choose a NBA accredited institution because of recent scandals in some engineering colleges. Give me a thumbs up if this information is useful.
