Bachelor in Fashion Technology is a course unique to NIFT. It was earlier known as Garment Manufacturing Technology(GMT) course. After graduation, you can get jobs such as Floor Manager, Merchandiser, Supervisor etc. You may join traditional Apparel/Textiles companies such as Madura, Reliance, ADEL etc. Or you can join the newer age fashion companies such as Myntra, Amazon etc. You may have a dive in the Start-Up boom of India by floating your own start-up. Scope is vast and it depends on individuals, as to what they want to achieve and what are their priorities.

The course curriculum and the faculty members are good. When it comes to placements it is very low compared to marketing and finance. So it depends on your priority. If learning and getting industry ready is the priority. Then yes VJIM stands well. If placements from college are your priority, the college will provide the maximum support. But you will have to be open to all HR profiles.

Dear Bhavana,
Considering fields you are confused among, and considering demand and value now days, suggestion is go for hotel management reason being it got better value than M.com now a days companies hardly look for m.com candidates they prefer MBA's over them. but if we talk about food industry it's growing everyday. so there are better opportunities in that field.
good luck
