Thanks @MSK70515 As per the rules framed by UGC for Ph.D only post graduate degree holders are allowed to do the Ph.D in their respective fields. Therefore the PGDM pass student are not allowed to do the Ph.D. To counter this situation AiCTE gives the permission to some institute for conducting fellowship programme in management . This programme is also equivalent to Ph.D. IIM also conducting this programme. In this programme all candidate having PGDM from AICTE approved institution are eligible.
