If you have already completed your BA LLB and then after completing your LLM you definitely will have good career scope in legal sector. You can get into public and private sector, get into big corporates and becomes the legal advisor for them or can join law firms or consultancies or Non-Governmental Organizations, National and International Institutions and Organizations, Lawyers, Law Firms. You can also get into the professions like ADR (alternative dispute resolution) & TRP (Tax Return Preparer).
As your academic background is of law advisable would be that you should stick to the same profession but, if you want to switch to some other profession it could be in administration, social work, Politics etc.

it's good you got 16 yrs of experience, the best thing according to me is you can go for PhD or MS level course in MCA. But MS program in Inida is little hidden due to it's poor infrastructure and and awareness about the course by the people. So, PhD is best option if you are willing to conduct it in India, entry requirements for doctorate degrees by most of the universities include good academic background at masters level(post graduate degree).The duration of the coursework and thesis for award of the degree is about 5 years.
Eligibility for doing Ph.D is First Class or minimum 60% marks (GCPA 6.5 on 10 point scale) in relevant areas.
