Yes, you can apply. The general eligibility criteria is: 10+2 in any stream. Most colleges have entrance exams and a group discussion. Some institutes ask for a portfolio. But again this may vary college to college. The course is generally B.Sc in visual communication. Hope, this will help you.

CSE stands for Computer Science Engineering. It's a branch of engineering. To be able to get through to the gaming industry, you need to be good with coordinate geometry and graphical / visual programming. Do you want to get in gaming without Masters? That is the biggest risk you are taking in India. If you are from reputed institutes like IIT, NIT, etc. then you have the slightest chance you could get into something meaningful inside the industry. Otherwise, you will be nothing but a tester. From that position you have to gain a lot of experience and should be more than exceptional to become something. There are minute chances that you could be sent for bog projects abroad.
