Ideally, they ask for 70% and above. However, it depends on the institute. You need a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience (post qualification) for many post-graduate programmes including MBA and engineering.

Hi there,

LPUNEST is generally mandatory for admission to B.Tech programs at LPU, as it serves both as both an entrance test and a scholarship exam. However, LPU provides exemptions from LPUNEST if a candidate has a valid score in national-level entrance exams like JEE Main. If you meet the required cutoff set by LPU through JEE Main, you may not need to appear for LPUNEST.

In case you haven’t appeared for any national-level exam, qualifying LPUNEST is essential for securing admission. The test evaluates your knowledge and helps determine your eligibility for scholarships based on your performance. Additionally, it en

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice.

LPU offers top-notch programs in mechanical engineering and computer science, each with its own advantages. While Mechanical Engineering offers practical expertise in robotics and automotive labs, CSE is a center for digital innovation with prestigious industrial partnerships. Selecting either guarantees a future-ready education supported by LPU's excellent infrastructure and placements.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.

Hi, The best option is Indian Engineering Services conducted by UPSC. After civil services, this is the most sought career. Yes, you are eligible for Indian Civil Services too but that won't utilise your engineering background. A combined three-stage competitive examination (comprising five tests), called the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) is conducted by the UPSC for recruitment to the Indian Engineering Services. IES remains to be the most sought-after careers for the engineering graduates in India.

Hello Hemcharan,
As per your marks, you have very slim chances of getting admission in IIIT-Allahabad. Last year, the closing rank was 10410 in the 6th round.

For B.Tech I am attaching the link of the placement record of SOA with all the company names, highest and lowest packages and everything else.
http://www.showcase.soauniversity.ac.in/engineering
The placements are decent and good enough if you do well in B.Tech academics. Also placement has a lot to do with your branch. Computer Science students are the ones who are placed well. Companies like Google come but they only recruit the best. There was news about a tiff between TCS and the placement cell. But if you are joining this year it's nothing to be worried about.
