It will be difficult to comment on the cost of the course as Mass Comm is a very broad domain and the cost of the course will vary from domain to domain for eg. A course in Journalism would cost you less as compared to a course in Film making as it will involve the use of professional cameras and other necessary gadgets and software and also the fee would also differ from institute to institute as different institutes have different fee structures depending upon the course content.
