Yes itvis a good option but then be very sure about going in the admintrative line of Govt sector. It is difficult to come in merit in UPSC exam in the first attempt itself. You miight have to make more number of attempts. Judge yourself correctly and if you do posses the required skills and the bent of mind towards intense studies then go for it.

The placement is quite decent at SIESCOMS. The institute has very good relationship with a large number of corporate from various sectors. The placement for the batch 2013-15 is still going on. The statistical details of the placement of the said batch till date are as under:

The minimum percentile of 85 with sectionals of 70 percentile is required to get a call in SPJIMR PGDM program. Please note that it's a necessary condition and not sufficient condition for getting an admission call. Placement is good and average package for this year was Rs 18 lpa.
