There are several options you can pursue parallel to your Bachelors degree in fashion design. I am listing them–

There is no such major differences between BA in mass communication and BJMC (Bachelors in journalism and mass communication). The course duration is three years. What differs is the number of subjects and the pattern of course. Bachelor of Journalism and mass communication is a specific graduate programme designed for this field whereas Bachelor of Arts has included mass communication courses along with various other courses of this stream.

Yes, one should go for a JRF in journalism and mass communication, only if the person wants to study further, like Ph.D in the subject. Normally to appear for the JRF, one needs apply for NET examination, and there are three sets order papers. Paper 1 has all the general knowledge, competitive questions and paper 2 and 3 has subject related questions.
