In case he doesn't get his desired college, don't settle for some mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if he tries for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Arch. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of NATA and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of class 12 marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12 or JEE or NATA. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like VIT, Lovely, SRM, etc. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements.

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. NEET-UG/PG is an entrance examination in India for students who wish to study any graduate medical course, dental course or postgraduate medical and dental course in government or private medical colleges in India.
BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) is a four and half years professional course. This involves assessment, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disability through physical means.
Eligibility- 10+2 in Science with Biology and English as a subject and at least 50% of marks in each subject. You must seat for the common entrance test for admission.
For example, I belong from West Bengal. Here, state government and joint entrance board conduct separate tests for admission (JENPAUH) in BPT and other paramedical or allied health courses. So, I think each state might have separate exams and test for admissions in BPT and paramedical or allied health courses.
