US is expensive in terms of cost of studies and living expenses however its one of the best destination. Now regarding Germany its obviously a good descsion like studying in developed european countries and germany is the good option for post graduation studies and also the favourite destination for international students. The standard of higher education in germany is first rate.There are over 500 international degree programmes offer courses which are entirely or partly taught in english. Most importantly German universities are funded by Government so there is no tuition fees in Public Universities however some private universities charge tuition fees but that too is very nominal(500 Euro/Sem) . For Mechanical engineering Germany is the best option as most of the world's best Automobile companies are in Germany so job prospects are high.
