There is never a disadvantage in doing any course through any mode. The only difference is that doing the course from regular full time mode is most preferred mode here in India. And rest all it depends on you that how much knowledge do you carry with yourself and with what attitude.

Good to see your concern for yourself. Please don't get confused while choosing the college for self. If you talk about DEC then no college can be affiliated through DEC because DEC means Distance Education Council and that affiliates only the universities those who run their degree courses through distance learning mode. AICTE - All India Council of Technical Education affiliates the colleges to run their technical courses and these colleges can offer you Post Graduate Diploma only. And the colleges who got their course affiliated by UGC - University Grant Commission can only offer you MBA degree. And PSC is Public Service C
