Indian Engineering Services entrance exam is designed for recruitment of engineers in government services. IES exam is conducted once every year by UPSC.
As far as the preparation is concerned,
1.You should join a coaching class. BRAIN TREE, is an institution engaged in training students for the All India Civil Services Examination conducted annually by the Union Public Service Commission. For best results, I may suggest you to personally visit the institute and interact with the existing batches and also try reaching alumni for clear and transparent review.
2.Increase your general awareness- Daily go through journals, magazines, newspapers and also refer Competition Success Review.
3.Read books of renowned publications- G.K Publishers, Arihant Publishers, etc.

Do u think that Microsoft Require any affiliation from any University? I think No. Because All the College purchase License from Microsoft. Now a days one must have to choose the line where he/she wants to make the career in IT lines. Here are some specialized job requirement in the Industry like System Admin, Network Admin, Security Admin, Database Admin, Virtualization Admin, Data center Admin, Web Developer, Internet Security Specialist, Software Developer and many more. These looks to be very high profile Job. If a person start career from this level Money no issue for him. As the experience grows Salary grows exponentially. Good to see your concern for yourself. Please don't get confused while choosing the college for self. If you talk about DEC then no college can be affiliated through DEC because DEC means Distance Education Council and that affiliates only the universities those who run their degree courses through distance learning mode. AICTE - All India Council of Technical Education affiliates the colleges to run their technical courses and these colleges can offer you Post Graduate Diploma only. And the colleges who got their course affiliated by UGC - University Grant Commission can only offer you MBA degree. And PSC is Public Service Commission and I don't think so that it has got anything to do with awarding of the degree or diploma.
First you decide for which course you want to go then we can work more on this.

Aspiring teachers have several options available to them. Some teachers begin their careers by earning a bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university. Also all prospective teachers must participate in professional fieldwork, often included in education degree programs, in which they are assigned to help or teach a class under the supervision of a licensed teacher. This practice helps students gain real world experience as student teachers, monitoring classes and meeting with parents.
You apply for B.ED as that is mandatory to be a teacher in schools. And further you can plan to pursue masters in one of your specialized subjects followed by PhD in order to further enhance your teaching career.
